Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use Emerge. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Emerge only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.

Emerge is a personal-development and self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device or a healthcare service, and it does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Emerge is not a substitute for professional care.

Emerge is not a crisis service. If you are in distress or may be in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Emerge offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Emerge Infinite, which unlocks unlimited sessions, your full evolving constellation, and unlimited time with the Guide. Some features are free; premium features require a subscription.

• Plans & price. Emerge Infinite is offered monthly or annually — for example, US$9.99 per month or US$59.99 per year. Prices may vary by region and currency, and the exact price is always shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
• Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (for example, 7 days). If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited.
• Payment. For purchases in the iOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. Purchases made on our website are processed by Stripe.
• Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID / App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies; we generally cannot issue them directly.

Purchases made through the App Store are also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to break the security of the service;
• reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of Emerge except as the law allows;
• use Emerge to break the law or to harm others.

Emerge, including its design, text, and software, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. The reflections and answers you write remain yours; you grant us the limited permission needed to operate the service for you (including generating your AI content), as described in our Privacy Policy.

Emerge is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise any particular outcome or result. To the extent permitted by law, Emerge and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

You can stop using Emerge and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken or to protect the service and its users.

We may update these Terms as Emerge evolves. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Emerge after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and we submit to the courts of Australia — except where your local consumer law grants you rights that cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
